Barry Solaiman is an expert in healthcare law. He is co-editor of a forthcoming book titled ‘Health, AI and the Law’ (to be published in 2024). He is publishing widely in the area of AI regulation in healthcare and has presented around the globe. Beyond AI, he is examining the regulation of the metaverse and blockchain in healthcare. He holds a PhD in law from the University of Cambridge, and a Fellowship in Bioethics from Harvard Medical School's Center for Bioethics.
At WCM-Q, he serves as Co-Director of the Intersection of Law & Medicine Series which is accredited by both the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar, and ACCME in the United States. At HBKU, he is Lead Principal Investigator for a multidisciplinary grant developing guidelines for the use of AI/Machine Learning in healthcare research.
