As a cancer epidemiologist with diverse training in economics, health policy evaluation, and statistics, my major research interests concentrate on precision medicine in early detection and screening for cancer in the general population and cancer survivors. In particular, I am investigating individual-level and neighborhood-level disparities in lung cancer screening, developing dynamic risk models to predict the risk of recurrence or second cancers in lung cancer survivors, and examining aging issues in older lung cancer survivors.
