Dr. Gordon-Elliott earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2004. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, serving as co-Chief Resident in 2009-10, and a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. In 2009, she was a recipient of the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education/Janssen Scholars Program. She has written papers on psychiatric care of the medically-ill.
