Dr. Lori Rubin is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist specializing in vascular surgery patients. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and then attended New York University Medical School in 1982. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Hospitals and then a residency in anesthesiology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She was a fellow in Pain Management at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Rubin has been an attending anesthesiologist at the New York Presbyterian Hospital since 1989. She is currently the Director of Vascular Anesthesia and is the Director of Medical Student Education for the anesthesiology department. She is active in many teaching roles within the medical college and the department, particularly in the development of medical simulation.
