Onder Canguven   Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology

 

Onder Canguven, M.D. is a urologist trained in Istanbul, Turkey and became a consultant urologist there in 2003. Dr. Canguven did his fellowship in Johns Hopkins University in 2008. He was made Associate Professor of Urology in 2011 in Turkey and moved to the Hamad Medical Corporation in 2013. He got Assistant Professor of clinical urology title from Weill Cornell Medical College, NY, USA in 2015. 

His surgical practice devoted to prosthetic urology principally for the management of erectile dysfunction and penile diseases. He is reviewer of 15 internationally well-known journals. He has more than 66 publications in internationally well-known peer reviewed journals. His papers are most commonly related with male sexual functions and health. His current main research interests include studying low testosterone, Vitamin D and ultraviolet-C specifically 222 nm. His articles were cited more than 1300 times from other authors in their research papers. His h-index is 20.
