Dr. Haran Sivakumar is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and has a particular focus on treatment of substance use disorders. As part of the Addiction Medicine Consultation Service, Dr. Sivakumar supervises and teaches residents and fellows performing addiction medicine consultations on patients in medical, obstetric, critical care, and surgical settings. In addition to his various academic, administrative, and clinical responsibilities within the hospital, he also maintains an active faculty practice in both addiction medicine and primary care. He treats a wide range of conditions, with an individualized and integrated approach that incorporates lifestyle interventions, psychotherapy and/or pharmacotherapy as needed.
