Spyridon Chouliaras   Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Chouliaras is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specialized in Reproductive Medicine. He undertook postgraduate training in O&G in the North West of England (Greater Manchester) and then relocated to London where he completed a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery in the historic St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Since 2014, he has been in private practice in one of the largest providers of IVF in London and the UK, Create Fertility where he worked as a consultant. He also led their hysteroscopy department which he has set up.

His areas of expertise include IVF and especially natural and mild approaches in ovarian stimulation , low ovarian reserve, congenital uterine anomalies, menopause, fibroids and endometriosis.

        • In my current role as assistant professor in Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar I am actively participating in lectures and tutorials, as well as mentoring and evaluation of OSCE for medical students.
        • Member of the faculty in the RCOG approved St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Laparoscopic Library course (April 2013-2014).
        • Reviewer of the Obstetrics and Gynecology content of a textbook aimed at medical students (Core Clinical Cases: PBL Self-Assessment for Medical Students, PASTEST publications, July 2007).
        • Throughout my career in the NHS I was regularly involved in teaching junior doctors in residency programmes as well as medical students.
        • Recognized as a Tier Two Educator in postgraduate O&G medical education and training by the Faculty of RCOG Medical Educators.
