Dr. William A. Rubenstein is Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Associate Attending Radiologist the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College Campus.

He is a member of the Abdominal Imaging Division and Weill Cornell Imaging at NYP (www.wcinyp.org) our multi-site outpatient imaging practice. Dr. Rubenstein is an active clinician whose expertise is in body imaging and he performs CT, Ultrasound, MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy. He is an active, involved and enthusiastic teacher of residents and fellows. Dr. Rubenstein also serves as Compliance Leader for the Department of Radiology?s Billing Compliance program.

Dr. Rubenstein earned his A.B. degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He attended the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and was awarded his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA.

After a year as an intern in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Hospital in St. Louis, Dr. Rubenstein received radiology residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. This was followed by a one-year Fellowship in Ultrasound and Computed Body Tomography at Weill Cornell Medical College-NYPH.

Dr. Rubenstein achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 1977. He is the author of numerous publications and book chapters.
