abstract
The complex nature and comorbidities of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) highlights the need for a multidisciplinary care model. These multidisciplinary patient-centered models deliver personalized specialty care and improve efficiency and efficacy of therapy. In this paper, we review current models of multidisciplinary care teams and introduce a framework for building a comprehensive NAFLD program based on real-world experience within our institution.
