  • Dr. Butler is a neurologist/neuroscientist with clinical subspecialty training in neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology and research fellowship training in functional and structural neuroimaging.  She also completed a fellowship in epilepsy and neurophysiology.  Dr. Butler is medical director at the Brain Health Imaging Institute in the Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, in charge of clinical trials of therapies and neuroimage biomarkers of neuropsychiatric disorders including Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as well as normal aging. She has particular interest and expertise in pathophysiologic overlap among these conditions such as hormonal dysregulation, neuroinflammation and brain toxic protein (tau and amyloid) accumulation.  
    Dr. Butler's clinical position is the neurology consultant to NYPH - Westchester Division, a psychiatric inpatient facility.  There, she evaluates and treats patients with severe psychiatric disease who tend to fall between the cracks of psychiatry and neurology.
