I am a research associate at Weill Cornell Medical College. My focus over the past 10 years has been on sample collection, processing and storage for clinical trials and establishing standardized protocols to ensure the integrity of these very important samples. Working in the of Hematology/Oncology division at Weill Cornell, I established a Clinical Translational Core Lab that provides standardize procedures for processing and storing patient samples as part of clinical trials.  In collaboration with many of the clinical oncology research programs at WCMC, including the Breast Cancer Research Program and the Lymphoma Research Program, the core lab has processed and banked thousands of plasma, serum, and peripheral blood cell samples from patients participating in clinical trials.

In 2020 I began working for the Center of Global Health in the Division of Infectious Disease at Weill Cornell focusing on lab management and monitoring sample collection and storage for clinical trials conducted at our sites in Haiti and Tanzania.  In addition to lab oversight, I work with medical students, research assistants, and research fellows conducting research in the lab, providing them with training and assistance in performing their clinical translational projects.
